I want a do-over -- Day 120/365

I did not have a good day today. First, I forgot to put out the garbage, and we only get it picked up once every two weeks, and my can is full. Great. Then, my daughter called me just before lunch saying that she felt dreadful and had made a doctor's appointment, but would have to go by bus because she didn't feel capable of driving. So I cancelled my lunch date and my 2:00 meeting, and went up to the university, drove her to her doctor's appointment and to a lab to have a bunch of tests, and then took her to lunch. On the way out of the parking lot after lunch, I had a slight mishap with the pillar I didn't realize was right to the left of my car. I don't usually do such stupid things, but I think I was distracted by worry about my daughter's health. So, instead of going back to the office, I had to phone the insurance company and phone around to body shops and take it in for an estimate. Such a lovely day.
