New shoes

New shoes
You have to understand how unusual this is for me. I generally buy cheap shoes -- maybe 2 pairs max -- and wear them until they fall apart. And then I buy a couple more. I also generally go for comfort over style. I am completely missing the female "shoe gene". Today I went out and decided that style deserves a higher place in my life, so I went into a nice shoe store I never usually set foot in, and bought 2 pairs of reasonably stylish shoes with the assistance of a young, chic salesgirl. And I paid more for them than I normally ever would. My best friend will be proud of me. :o)
